Astaranga is one of the famous beaches in Odisha. It’s located on the Bay of Bengal coast in the Prachi Valley, situated near the mouth of Devi River at a distance of 34 km from Konark. The name “Astaranga” comes from two Odia words: “Asta,” which means sunset, and “ranga,” which means colorful. So, the name means “colorful sunset.”
