Diptirekha Padhi- Odia Playback Singer

Diptirekha Padhi, widely known as Diptirekha the Odia Singer, was born on October 17 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She attended the renowned Sri Satyasai Highschool and later pursued her education at Ramadevi Womens College. Diptirekha furthered her studies, earning a Master’s degree in Economics from Utkal University.

Musical Training

Under the guidance of Guru Pradeep Kumar Das, Diptirekha received instruction in Indian classical Odissi music, marking a significant influence on her musical journey.

Career in Playback Singing

Diptirekha gained prominence as a playback singer in Odia language films, contributing her soulful voice to movies like “4 Idiots,” “Tu Mo Love Story,” and “Kabula Barabula.”

Apart from her musical ventures, Diptirekha showcased her talent in Tele-Serials, notably playing the lead role in “Raja Kanya.”
