ଅକ୍ଷୟ ତୃତୀୟା ଭାରତ ଓ ନେପାଳରେ ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ପାଳିତ ହେଉଥିବା ଏକ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ହିନ୍ଦୁ ପର୍ବ। ଏହି ପର୍ବକୁ ଆଖତି ବା ଆଖା ତୀଜ ବୋଲି ମଧ୍ୟ କୁହାୟାଏ। ଏହା ବୈଶାଖ ମାସର ତୃତୀୟା (ଏପ୍ରିଲ-ମେ) ଦିନ ପଡିଥାଏ ଏବଂ ହିନ୍ଦୁ କ୍ୟାଲେଣ୍ଡରରେ ଏହାକୁ ଅନ୍ୟତମ ପବିତ୍ର ଦିନ ଭାବେ ବିବେଚନା କରାୟାଏ।
“ଅକ୍ଷୟ” ଶବ୍ଦର ଅର୍ଥ “ଅନନ୍ତ” ବା “କେବେ କମିବ ନାହିଁ”, ଯେତେବେଳେ କି “ତୃତୀୟ” ଶବ୍ଦର ଅର୍ଥ “ତୃତୀୟ ଦିନ” ଏହି ଦୁଇଟି ଶବ୍ଦର ମିଶ୍ରଣ ଶାଶ୍ୱତ ସମୃଦ୍ଧି, ଧନ, ଏବଂ ସୁଖକୁ ସୂଚାଇଥାଏ ଯାହା କେବେ ବି ହ୍ରାସ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ। ଏହି ଦିନ ଯେକୌଣସି ଶୁଭ କାର୍ୟ୍ୟ କଲେ ଅସୀମ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ଓ ସୌଭାଗ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତି ହୋଇଥାଏ ବୋଲି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ରହିଛି।
ହିନ୍ଦୁ ଧର୍ମରେ ଅକ୍ଷୟ ତୃତୀୟାର ବିଶେଷ ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱ ରହିଛି। ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ଅନୁସାରେ ଧନର ଦେବତା କୁବେର ଏହି ଦିନ ମା’ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଅନନ୍ତ ଧନ ଓ ଐଶ୍ୱର୍ୟ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ ବୋଲି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ରହିଛି। ଏହା ମଧ୍ୟ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରାୟାଏ ଯେ ଭଗବାନ ଗଣେଶ ଏହି ଦିନରେ ମହାଭାରତ ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥ ଲେଖିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ।
ଏହି ଦିନ ଭାରତ ଓ ନେପାଳରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ରୀତିନୀତି ଓ ରୀତିନୀତିରେ ପୂଜାର୍ଚ୍ଚନା କରିଥାନ୍ତି। ସବୁଠାରୁ ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ ପ୍ରଥା ହେଉଛି ସୁନା, ରୂପା କିମ୍ବା ଅନ୍ୟ ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ ଜିନିଷ କିଣିବା, କାରଣ ଏହା ସୌଭାଗ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ସମୃଦ୍ଧି ଆଣିଥାଏ ବୋଲି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରାୟାଏ। ଏହାଛଡା ଗରିବ ଓ ଅସହାୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଅର୍ଥ ଓ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଦାନ କରିବା ସହ ଦାନ କାର୍ୟ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟ କରିଥାନ୍ତି।
ଅକ୍ଷୟ ତୃତୀୟାର ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ମହତ୍ତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦିଗ ହେଉଛି ଧାର୍ମିକ ରୀତିନୀତି ଓ ପୂଜାର୍ଚ୍ଚନା। ଅନେକ ଭକ୍ତ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଯାଇ ଭଗବାନ ବିଷ୍ଣୁ, ଗଣେଶ, ମା’ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀଙ୍କ ସମେତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଦେବାଦେବୀଙ୍କୁ ପୂଜାର୍ଚ୍ଚନା କରିଥାନ୍ତି। କେତେକ ଅକ୍ଷୟ ତୃତୀୟା ହୋମ ଭଳି ପବିତ୍ର କାର୍ୟ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟ କରିଥାନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁଥିରେ ମନ୍ତ୍ର ଜପ କରିବା ଏବଂ ଏକ ପବିତ୍ର ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ହୋମ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିବା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ।
ଭାରତର କେତେକ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଲୋକେ ଧାନ ରୋପଣ କରି ଅକ୍ଷୟ ତୃତୀୟା ପାଳନ କରିଥାନ୍ତି, ଯାହାକି କୃଷି ଋତୁର ଆରମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରତୀକ। ଲୋକମାନେ ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ବ୍ୟଞ୍ଜନ ଯଥା ପୁରି, ଚଣା, ହାଲୁଆ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ପରିବାର ଓ ବନ୍ଧୁବାନ୍ଧବଙ୍କ ସହ ବାଣ୍ଟିଥାନ୍ତି।
ଅକ୍ଷୟ ତୃତୀୟା କେବଳ ଏକ ପର୍ବ ନୁହେଁ, ବରଂ କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମ, ନିଷ୍ଠା ଓ ଭଲ କର୍ମର ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱ ବିଷୟରେ ମନେ ପକାଇ ଦେଇଥାଏ। ଏହି ସମୟରେ ଆମକୁ ମିଳୁଥିବା ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ଏବଂ ସୁୟୋଗକୁ ନେଇ ଚିନ୍ତା କରିବା ଉଚିତ ଏବଂ ସେଥିରୁ ଲାଭ ଉଠାଇବା ଉଚିତ।
ପରିଶେଷରେ କହିବାକୁ ଗଲେ ଅକ୍ଷୟ ତୃତୀୟା ଏକ ଆନନ୍ଦମୟ ପର୍ବ, ଯାହା ସମୃଦ୍ଧି, ଉଦାରତା ଏବଂ ବିଶ୍ୱାସର ଭାବନାକୁ ପାଳନ କରିଥାଏ। ଏହା ହେଉଛି ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ନେବାର ସମୟ, କୃତଜ୍ଞତା ଜ୍ଞାପନ କରିବାର ସମୟ ଏବଂ ଆମ ଚାରିପାଖରେ ଥିବା ସକାରାତ୍ମକତା ଏବଂ ଭଲପାଇବାକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବାର ସମୟ।
